Replace static cornering bulb with white - R36

Anyone did change their static cornering bulbs to those white ones to match the xenons? or even LEDs?

Yep, I changed mine with Phillips Crystal but no real diff ! With the Cornering bulbs I don't think you can use LEDs....

On another note - I wanted to change my parker lights and the come home lights of the rear mirrors to LED however when I spoke with the VW Tech, he advised for the parkers the entire headlight needs to be removed and with the rear mirrors they had never done it before???

If anyone has done this please reply as for me it has been !

yeah Thanks.. I just wanted them to look the same colour with the Xenons. Was it easy to change them?

LMAO!!! What a moron. The parkers are the easiest globes to change. It's a 10 second job ffs! Remove the rear headlight cover, pull plastic tab out - parker is on the end of it. Swap it over, slide the tab back in, replace rear cover. DONE!

Put LED parkers in my R36 - just make sure you get the ones with a built in resistor as LEDs draw hardly any current compared with the normal ones, the car thinks the light is dead and cuts power to it.

I'm sure we all know how to change headlight globes....... however if you have a real good look at the front parker light it is extremely hard to get to and it ain't that simple! Have a look and you will know!

Actually he's right. THe park light bulb is really easy to change. Remove the access cover and you'll see a little black or white tab thing. Pull it out and the bulb comes out with it (might be a twist and pull). It's really very, very, very simple.

Damn, Don't you love forums.....Prove yourself you can be a bit of an ass sometimes!

I had a quick look and cannot see it directly behind the headlight but can feel a small lever which is a bit flexible. Tried gently pushing it back and forth but no action. Do you know the direct procedure???

There is no twist, just a pull... If you have gigantor hands or something, try grabbing the plastic tab with long nose pliers. Pull it straight back. If it's tight just pull harder.
