Passat TDI 125 DSG 2nd gear lurching.

When ever my Passat shifts in to 2nd gear running off from traffic light it lurches slightly as if I applied the brakes lightly.
is this normal?

also the first gear engages too rapidly resulting in very jerky start...

new mechatronics unit should fix the issues.
