Today I get mine back

Some weeks back my R36 was driven into by an elderly gentleman in a Corolla on the freeway.



Today, after nearly two weeks at the panel beaters, it comes back. Not quite the same excitement as when it was new but after using their "courtesy vehicle" it will be loved even more. An EL Falcon with a nice set of ROH mags, Bob Jane special tyres and 200,000+km on the clock.

And that's a whole lot better. A couple of new doors, some paint and a wash; 'almost' like new.



The wait made me realise, again, how fantastic it is to drive, Especially in the rain that was coming down today.
