Need a Transmission ECU

For my Passat but cannot find one anywhere, emailed numerous wreckers and what not, google searches and no luck.

Really need some help!

Have you looked into getting yours repaired?
There must be plenty of ECU repairers over east

is a repair possible? I mean it was flooded with water when we took it out and opened it up

Have you dried it out and tried it?
I had the rear wheel steering ECU on a Skyline fill with water so dried it out next to a heater and it worked fine.
If yours doesn't could be worth giving to an electronics expert to go over.
Really if you haven't let it sit too long wet so it corrodes you never know your luck

Did you really do a google search? In the first four entries are

VW PASSAT AUTOMATIC GEARBOX ECU 8D0 927 156 BK 1.8 20VT on eBay (end time 16-Apr-10 12:36:10 BST)
just sold for $175 pounds on Friday.

There are a heap of them listed with slightly different revisions as well. Do a ebay search for 8D0 927 156.

This is a BE revision - VW Audi A4 Steuerger

Yeah, i was looking at that one on eBay but it sold before i could get around to bidding on it.

And the same thing happened when we dried the ECU out and all that and tried it again and no luck.

Cheers for the links, but would the ECU fit my one seeing as the revisions are different..? :S

Very possible, plenty of supersessions happen with Vw parts. Its a 5Hp Zf tranny in your car have you tried other Audi applications, plenty use it
