That is the worst modification you could do to that car. Would affect the handleing to the point it would feel like it was understeering around every corner. The back end would break traction on any rough surfaces. It is funny seeing what people do to their cars that show a lack of engineering understanding but I am sure it gets the bogan pussy.
To those arguing about the practicality of someone else's car, you will find most people who modify VW's couldn't care less about practicality. Much less do they enjoy being told by others what is practical or not. I think it's fairly obvious to most people of average intelligence that modifying a car in this way does nothing for handling, and evidently people who modify their car in this way don't have handling high on their priorities. Not everyone who modifies cars has the aim of increasing performance. Also, the OP clearly stated the front suspension wasn't even changed yet. Stretching tyres, lowering, running wheels that are the wrong fitment for the car, using adapters, the list goes on. Who gives a **** about practicality, as long as it looks sick.

As for "leading a pack of specialist", seriously WTF?!?! Just a few of us think it looks rediculous. Like I have said so many times, just because one person thinks something looks good doesn't mean EVERYONE will so you have to accept the negative feedback too if you're going to post pictures for people to comment on. Doesn't mean anyone is right or anyone is wrong or anyone is a "specialist" it just means we all have different taste.

I have never cared if people disagree with me - that's why it surprises me when other people get so precious about differences of opinion. Just accept that everyone is different FFS!
