After market projection lights

I've seen a few selling over ebay, passatworld...etc but i am just wondering if we can use it in Australia?

like for example link.

Is it possible to change it to a RHD lights ? since i live in AU and drive here...

Any ideas anyone?

Welcome to our forum, Chari. Good to have another Passat owner aboard.

I reckon the LHD to RHD lights will not work. From memory the reflectors over the filament are reversed and the parabola in the lens is aligned differently. I could be wrong about this because technology changes so rapidly that there may be simpler factors involved.

I remember when I used to drive from the UK to the European mainland I had to fit clipover lenses to my headlights to bend the light beams. But in those days all headlights were round!
