That's what I am slooooowly working towards, but it's not cheap nor is it easy. I have the controller and most of the cabling, just need the camera / badge unit, and then will be able to work out what other cabling I need. But from there it's still a fairly big job to install.

Would it be possible to retrofit the Touareg reverse camera (sits in the light assembly above the rear licence plate) and run the cables through to the stereo/display screen in the front????

Not sure if it is possible on the passat, may need to do some research into it.

It works on the tiguan (hence why i am going ahead with it) and the camera and parts should be picked up from ebay for about $50-$100.


Had a look over on vortex to see if anyone has done anything over there?
