VW roadside assist vs RACV

My car is turning 3 yrs old in April and my complimentary roadside assist is expiring.
Wondering if anyone had renewed their VW roadside assist or just go to RACV. I will be comparing notes this weekend but just wondered what is everyone's opinion.

VW roadside charges are $70 for standard and $100 for premium. I think it is similarly priced with RACV.

From my VW assist experience, they are all contracted out to companies that provide assistance for car manufacturers like BMW, Hyundai etc.

I do recall a thread about a few issues with VW assist.
Gave plenty of members opinions of the service.

ive got RACV havent had to call them out but its good to have , they pay accommodation or taxi depending where you are , free towing etc
