Passat struggling in the UK due to Skoda

Skoda seem to of taken the Luxury COTY award for Top Gear UK over the Passat and the E-Class mercedes.

German auto giant Volkswagen is having trouble with its subsidiary Skoda. Not only are profits down at the Czech-based automaker, but its cars are now competing directly with VW models -- and in some cases are beating them in road tests.

It appears VW may start to peg them back as they are eating into VW Passat sales and at a rapid rate. It's quite an interesting read, especially when you see how no where they are here in OZ.
