Position for handsfree kit

I'm getting a handsfree kit installed professionally next week for my passat and wonder what is the best position to install.
I have one of these Alpines http://www.alpine.com.au/technology/ex-10.asp

Where do you think it's the best position in a passat?

Would like the RNS510 but they are too costly.
