    Talk isn't cheap, it's free. :p

I'm in no rush to mod a car just for the sake of modding it or the whole "look what I have" attitude (before I need the flame suit, no I'm not trying to say others have that attitude - just explaining it's not what I'm going for). Like I have said (you should re-read my post 111), I take my time with things. I believe it's important to make well planned, well informed, well thought out decisions. Being impulsive while fun can just be a pointless waste a lot of the time. And the balance between "need" and "want" is also an important factor.

        Hahahah classy.

Again, i would go H&R purely becasue of the huge brand awareness and market presence.

I would say Eibach don't have too many issues with brand awareness and market presence. In fact personally, I heard of Eibach (albeit installed on Aussie cars not German cars) before I heard of H&R.

Hey 111, car looks good mate!
            Thanks for posting pics.
I'm running some matt black 19s and am thinking to lower it a little without
screwing too much with the ride.
Can you tell me what size your wheels are and how much lower your car
            went with the H&R springs?
            Thanks mate!
I had height adjustable H&R coil overs on my old mk4 golf.... Dropped it around 90mm.... Was good fun!!

Same here too Rocket36. I heard of Eibach since I had my driving licence which is about two decades ago. Came to know about H&R only this year?
Is it almost like asking would you prefer Ford or Holden? Flipping the coin may work.

Also, those tyre have been giving the shakes in my Passat. Been back to the shop 4 times and it is still not resolved. The steering starts to rattle and car shakes when doing between 90kmh - 120kmh. The manager said it is not related to the wheels but tyres. Patience is running low

Could be the toe/camber as they may not know about that.
Some VW's come with modified figured for this, if they just do the alignment like a commondore, then it could be out.

Alternatively, it could just be a dodgy wheel alignment.
I would see if the dealer can do it for you.

Thanks for the advise. Why is there an impact to the toe/camber if it is just straight forward wheel replacement within the standard size config?

Tyre shop is speculating on defective tyres. Will be getting a new set of replacement tyres tomorrow. Glad I did not order anything online or from the US. It would be nightmarish in this experience with no local support. Sometimes, it pays if we spend a bit more for local support.

They are putting in the springs tomorrow too. Toes and fingers crossed

I had H&R's on my old Imprza RS, and they were fantastic!
Freeway ride quality was better than standard, but take a corner and there was little to no body roll.
I will definitely be purchasing some for my future golf! The H&R website says I need a FSB for cars with 42mm or larger drive shafts (Apparently for drive shaft clearance)
I dont know if that applies just yet, but will do some measuring when I finally get a car! Anybody run into that problem with a Mk4 GTI?

                          Hey all.

Those lambo wheels are mad!! Would never have thought to put them on. Hope my wagon looks that good one day.

I have been looking at Eibach Pro Kit Sport Springs (#3C0 071 679 ) will they fit my TDI Wagon??

I had eibach pro-kit fitted to my v6 wagon. Check out the European Eibach for your specs or go visit a eibach dealer.

just fitted some OEM Lambo rims to my R36 but feel its a bit too high.

i dont want to go as low as the H&R's - 25mm.

Anyone make a spring for the R36 that lowers 10mm, 15mm, or worst case 20mm?
