I could get one for $1600 from Europe....are you saying you paid $1800? What about maps...did they give you the disc? Which dealer? What warranty? Did they install it, or did/will you do that?

your telling me that you can get one brand new, shipped to Australia, clear customs and duty and buy a 500 map disc with antenna and all the bits needed for a retrofit for 1600 landed. Point me in that direction and I'll buy another as a spare. Oh 2 year warranty also.

Did you not see the words Tommy Cupra...and the suggestion to search that over at Golfmkv.com or vwnavi.com? Tommy sells RNS units with warranty and is one of the best dealers of the unit.

And that thread also said UNDER $2000...not $2k plus shipping etc.
