Probably I should consider these options. R36 owners with these nice rims - any of you interested in selling off your stock 18inch R36 wheels?

ET is the offset of the wheel.

Standard Offset for the .:R36 is 44 i believe.
The higher the number, the further inwards it sits.
The lower the number, the further outwards is sits.

        I will be!!!

Once I get my BBS rims that is. Didn't want to have to take them back to Canberra with me when I move back later in the year.

I'm in Southbank at the moment. So should make it easier for you than Canberra too.

this is for 111, if you have got 235/35/19 tyres on your car, what is the load rating?
I put 255/35/19 Mitchelin Pilots on mine as I was advised the load rating needs to be at least 96 and the handling has improved a lot. I remember the original tyres had a lot of roll when hit the corners at speed. I would have preferred the 235's. In all honesty the ride with the 19's is so much smoother that the standard balloons....i was very surprised.
I got the offset at 44, I had to file down inside the rear guards a little but that did the trick.

Brownie, does the 255 fit without any modifications to the tyre wells? Did you lower your car?

I'm getting more convinced to 19inch now but tyre cost is pretty steep. I know the guys here says buy from tirerack.com but this vehicle is under a novated lease and they may not refund me.

Be careful with a novated lease, you might want to read the lease agreement as the car will have to be in original spec at end of the lease, unless you intend to purchase the vehicle. I guess you can always keep your old wheels to cover that.
I considered retro-fitting a tow bar to my novated lease vehicle a few years back and when I asked the question they refused to re-imburse the cost as they said that they don't allow for modification, other than the ones done as part of the purchase of the vehicle. (I'm pretty sure that this is an ATO ruling)
I recommend you ring your lease company and ask them if they will re-imburse you for the cost of the wheels.
              Good luck!

I lease my cars, and any mods are done at my cost. Whilst in theory you have to keep it stock, in practice they don't care as long as you maintain the car properly, don't expect them to pay for things, don't go mental, etc.

Come end of lease I can either leave them on (e.g. tinting) or take them off (performance mods). Anything I leave on will probably slightly increase sale value and / or make the car easier to sell. The amount I have to pay off the lease is the same regardless.

Thanks. I have factored that in. Making arrangements to purhcase the wheels myself and charge the tyres to the lease account. One of the reasons of changing the tyres is it has about 10k km of life left.

Will change them while there are still some life left and keep them as OR factory wheels. I would like 19inch wheels but don't think the lease company will pay for them as it is $400 a corner. May have to stick to 18 inches.
