Seriously, enough with the speculation. That is just one bloke's (Jeremy Weber's) speculation about it - and it's nearly a year old! The pics are just 3D renders too. Until something from VW is announced, nothing is accurate.
Agreed! Problem is, there is no way for ANYONE except the boys at VW in Germany to know anything about the next version of the Passat. Hence anything else is speculation.
If you want to know, ask them! It's not a smart ar$e comment. It's the only way to you're likely to get anything that's not a guess.

5-6 year cycle sounds about right. I also think they'd probably want to leave a gap between the Jetta and Passat releases. New Jetta seems to have grown a little bigger...
