Service life of DSG 6 spd

anyone know ie how many km's before it needs replacing or the clutches? No doubt depends a lot of driving style highway vs city kms etc. Think i will be going for the extended 3 year warranty this year.

lol I never keep a car long enough to care... Anything over 200,000km before significant replacements is good I reckon.

lucky you, but 200,000km should be reasonable providing the 60,000km service intervals for changing the oil are adhered to.. I beleive there was a Skoda in Europe that has done 264,000km with no issues.

I think the DSG clutch(es) was designed to never need replacing.
