  • R36 dead pedal

    Hey all,

Was wondering if anyone's R36 came with the metallic R line dead pedal (or footrest) as pictured in the brochures...?

Just found out that mine does not...

Mine (ordered in January 2008) didn't come with anything special there, either.

Yep...MY10 maintained the run of dull plastic. Lookng closely at the pedal it would appear a difficult job customising it to fit the R-patterned after-market dead pedal

You should have bought a Skoda vRS - not only do you get a shiny metal "dead pedal" (with rubber inserts) on the left, as a bonus you also get (a plastic) one on the right too ! (first vehicle I've ever had with one for your accelerator foot as well)

            (sorry, I couldn't resist )
2017 MY18 Golf R 7.5 Wolfsburg wagon (boring white) delivered 21 Sep 2017, 2008 Octavia vRS wagon 2.0 TFSI 6M (bright yellow), 2006 T5 Transporter van 2.5 TDI 6M (gone but not forgotten).

Probably because your foot is always on either the accelerator or brake (exception being cruise control i guess).

Ps. Good to see Skoda aren't stingy with the little things.
