It'll be interesting to see how you go with the stuff from Kufatec - there are known issues with their reversing camera module (doesn't activate every time you go into reverse).

the wheels are 19, when you see them in person you will agree trust me....

ill let you know about the reverse camera.....ive been told its the factory retrofit

Is it this - http://www.kufatec.de/shop/product_i...b65fec42a1e199 that you are getting? That has the genuine camera, but the issues are with the Kufatec interface unit, not the camera. Note too that unit is not compatible with the Optical Parking System on the R36...

tv tuner is coming from Kufertec along with a host of other things...like tv in motion etc.....

Hmmm... I ordered the RNS 510 (with GPS and sat nav) and wouldn't mind TV either. I am intrigued. Is the dealer organising the Kufertec fit? If not, who? What sort of cost for the TV? Is it fully compatible with RNS 510 and will it void your warranty?

Sorry to ask a zillion questions but it is a cool feature I would love to get also!

You'll haver to settle for beeping parking sensors only though. No optical display.

thats cool - can this be setup on our wagon with camera etc? as standard it just shows the camera picture, or can toggle to the car view. is it a menu option to have both ?

I don't have it, so can't tell you exactly LOL... I think it may be an upgrade with the new RNS510 firmware...

Do you know, or is your contact able to find out the VW part number of the kit by any chance?
I'm picking my wagon up tomorrow (if no further delays....) and going to have a chat to the dealer re retrofit of camera system after their stuff-up and would be handy if I had some part numbers. (I have VW partnumbers for the retrofit kit into a Golf).
VW retrofit kit would benefit quite a few forum members that had their car delivered without the RVC due to stuff-up from either their dealer, VWA or VW

I'm trying to find out at the moment which bits are needed for a Passat RVC retro-fit, from multiple sources. Be afraid though, from spare parts the reverse camera / badge / boor handle / interface unit alone is about $1000...

I have also asked Kufatec if they can tell me what bits exactly go into the retro-fit kit that they now sell for the CC.
