  • Odometer reading on new car

Hi all who have taken delivery of your new cars. Mine is due at Port Kembla tomorrow and I am wondering what to expect the odometer reading to be when I take delivery in I suppose 10 or 14 days time.

    What have yours been?

    Cheers

    Subject was discussed here http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/newf...light=odometer

Maybe time for a "fresh" thread...but then again...the link still seems appropriate.

    Congrats on the new car.

my car had about 25km on the clock when picked up IIRC.

I believe that a car should have less than 100km on the odo to be classified as "new"

I can tell you the odometer reading tomorrow... my car landed in Port Kembla on 4 October and I get it tomorrow, so 14 days is on the money!

I recognise that this is a needless post, citing what you all already know about delivery times, but I just needed to say again, to anyone that will listen, that I am getting my car tomorrow!!!

Closer to 100km now. Automated speed control removed after 10km back at the office. How do you describe a smile that just gets bigger; everyone time you turn a corner and every time you think about it after getting home?
