    Has anyone tried this?

I have a party out on a farm near Crookwell in a couple of weeks. Driving home is not an option, so the wife and I thought we might "camp" in the back of the R36.

Was thinking about going to Clark Rubber, getting some foam to cut to size.

Does anyone have any tips on whether it is comfortable, foam to use etc?

    Assistance appreciated.
Confirmed Global Warming Sceptic. No Longer a VW Owner -Loving my new 2011 Range Rover Sport - bought as VW unable to provide info on the new Toureg despite it being released overseas 12 mths ago. 2008 R36 Wagon, 2006 GTI and 2004 R32 - Gone. Sorry VW, you make great cars but until you improve your customers' experiences you will lose customers

Try getting two single 4wd or self inflating mattresses from a camping store (Camping World, BCF..etc). Look for brands such as oztrail/outerlimits, Roman and coleman. 2 singles *should* fit, and are easier to store then a double or bigger)
These have velor tops - this is so sheets don't slide around when placed on top.

If your hell bound on getting something to fit perfectly (which would be RAD), look for a dual or tri density foam. This mean the foam at the top is softer than at the bottom.

You should also look for foam mats between 80-100mm in thickness.

Hmmmmm...weather is still quite cool, Crookwell is a quaint but damned cold little place......my suggestion stay in a motel! Probably cheaper than buying an air matress (approx $90-100 per night) and a damn sight more comfortable!

I've rolled my swag out in the back of my R36 a few times. It's not all that comfortable because the rear seats don't fold flat... and it's a bit of a squeeze getting two people sleeping happily back there.
