About due for the 30k service on the R36.

I have had it serviced at McCarroll's Waitara for the last couple and they have done OK. They had some issues trying to sort out the DSG and made a complete hash of fixing an exhaust mount, I was wondering who you guys would recommend for service.

    Cheers,
    Brett

I have had nothing but great service from Barloworld in Mascot. Been taking my VW's there for about 4 years, and it is always as expected.

They may not have flashy receptions etc. but they call me with an update, and tell me if there is going to be any delay.

I usually get a courtesy car (I negotiated this when I bought the car for $0 per service), but see you are on the other side of town, so may not be an option.

    Just my experience.

i would steer clear of the dealers unless you want to pay $15 everytime they fill up your washer fluid amongst other ridiculous things.

Jade Auto Centre @ Rosebery - 9663-0427 (ex barloworld svc manager owns this place, they commonly do vw / audi and euro cars on a daily basis and will do your logbook svc etc)

Seb @ EuroAutomotive @ Giraween (nth parra) 0410-541-322 - Sebs very well known for his vw/audi high tech brain of knowledge, everybody knows him, everybody recommends him.

Derek @ European Autotek @ Mona Vale (unsure number)
          What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Sebastian is a great guy. he installed my coils for the CC. The coils were a bitch to install but he did a great job. Highly recommend him.

Yeah we're in North Ryde, blue wagon BGP87E, usually got roof racks with either a pod or a kayak on them.

I'm usually the one who is cruzing along... my wife on the other hand is the one who complains about the traction control cutting in too early I know that I should have never got her in a race car.

Will keep an eye out for you guys.

                      Cheers,
                      Brett

and a thanks to everyone for letting me know about their service experience.
