RNS/RCD 510 Black spots

I started this thread some time ago:

seems that there are a number of black spots - one in Central Coast, and the other around tumbarumba. I have spoken to my service guy and got the message that "VW know of the problem and are workign on it". However this is far from satisfactory as I reported the problem in February.

I have discovered that if you turn off the RNS510 prior to entering and turn on after exitiing the blackspot, everything works fine.


So, in planning a trip to canberra from the huntervalley - I want to know if there are more blackspots so I can plan around them:

I know of one in camden/tumbarumba that was mentioned on the previous thread, but are there any more?

Halfway between Marulan & the first Goulburn exit.

Once through this area mine didn't work all throughout Canberra, that is before I got the issue resolved.

Living in Canberra and travelling the Hume a lot, never had a problem. Although I have had the "take the left exit" when turn right at a set of lights happen, in Canberra!
