Passat V5 diagnostic software and workshop manual

Hi all

Well I think I just posted my first message in the wrong place...

I own a Passat B5.5 V5 and am trying to get hold of some diagnostic software, computer cable and workshop manual. I have found the Ross-Tech stuff in the US though they don't cater for the V5.
Can anyone recommend what to get and where to get it - at hopefully a decent price.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The VAG-COM will work on it no problems.

Have a look at Bentley manuals for the Passat.

Thanks for the info.
I looked at the Bentley manual though it doesn't seem to cover the V5. Regarding the vag-com software are you referring tot he stuff you can get through Ross-Tech?
Sorry if this seems like never ending questions about the same stuff.

Yeah Perry you download it off their website.

The software will work on the V5 for sure. Info on the engine in a Bentley manual might be limited/non-existent.
