thats pretty good - If I baby mine (drive is about 25km fwy, 10km suburbs) - I'll get about 9.1 average. If I drive it harder, its around 10.5 on trip 1

On a kind of related matter - how much do peoples trip computers differ to actual consumption?

Sometimes - especially when a quick drive to the shops or something has an average consumption on trip 1 of 33L/100km!!!

(but not really - before the R36 boys disown me about complaining about Fuel consumption - the R36 has about the same average consumption as my MY05 WRX and its bigger and much more practical)

I have a fuel card in my lease package, so it's all part of the salary scrificed stuff, but hey it all comes back to me in the end!

I was trying on the way home tonight, got 8.7! It went as low as 7.7 at one point, but then coming across Bardon and Ashgrove bumped it back up.

Ah, Moggill Road.. it brings back memories.. especially of the time when my mother was dropping me off at school in Kenmore, and the throttle return spring broke, so she drove from Pinjarra Hills to Kenmore with the engine stuck at flat out.. all I remember was that she seemed to be pumping the brakes quite a bit...

                      You guys crack me up.

R36 performance this, performance that, and now getting all "competitive" with the economy as well.

Well, I've got news for you: We diesel guys (and I hope you don't mind me speaking on behalf of you, fellow oilers) have this one IN THE BAG. Don't bother, stop treating your go-fast pedal like a raw egg and have fun.

Isn't that why you bought your car in the first place?
