Newbie with a request...

Hi I am new here. A couple of weeks ago I decided on a R36 wagon to replace my MY02 H6 Outback (yes, another convert). Once my mind was made up I had to find out more info and stumbled upon this excellent VW community. It is reassuring to read all the positive feedback from new owners on this board.

I placed an order for a wagon last week but have not been able to confirm a colour choice with the dealer yet. I was wondering if any R36 owners living in Sydney's inner west were willing to let me eyeball their car, especially Biscay Blue, Icelandic Grey and Candy White. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Anyone else out there with either a blue or silver one I'd really like to see actual cars rather than images on the laptop. Dealers not having cars makes things difficult. I am sure you guys have been through the same...

Anyway any help would be most appreciated and I'd be happy to return the favour in the future.

Yes, I did get your PM, John. It's just that I have been a bit busy and have had little chance to decide on a time that would suit me to have a viewing. I am not at my business all that often and for the rest of this week I shall be in and out all over the place. It may have to be next week some time.

Thanks Lance, next week will be fine if I have still not confirmed a colour with the dealer. (trying to make sure I recieve my car before the end of the year, otherwise no 50% tax-brake)

The car only has to be ordered by years end and must be delivered before Dec 2010 until the rebate is off
Of course you want it delivered before June 30, 2010 to claim in this financial year however!!

Well I am also waiting for an Audi Q5 for the wife to claim the rebate as well as the R36 for me. Both are company cars.
The Q5 is 10 months wait!!! Cop that for impatience testing!!!!!!!

Benem, you gotta see one in Silver, they are amazing!! blue is also nice.

I crossed paths with a BB wagon yesterday, late afternoon, looked very nice!

The sun had all but set so I will be looking at it tomorrow daytime. If that falls through I'll take you up on your offer.
