I use a non acidic wheel cleaner and as VW doesn't have their own I got some from BMW. Spray it on the rims one by one, by the time youre done hose off and youre done.
interesting.. wonder how it gets backed on brake dust off if you just spray it on? HOw much is it wouldn't mind trying some.
ps i hose off one by one and dont do it when the wheels are hot.
