  • Suspension for passat

    Hey,

I'm looking at lowering my B5 Passat 1.8T, what brand/type suspension do you guys think would suit the following:

    -*Smooth ride.
    -*Relatively affordable.
    -*Good performance.
-*And in the Gold Coast region.

Really want coils but anything of the like will do..

    Cheers guys.

If you want to drop it for under $400

springs or reset will do... to me its very comfy after a 3" drop, only harsh coz of the 30 profile tyres..

You dont change your shocks within 10k and you will have the bounciest ride.

Do it properly, eibachs, kws, koni or whatever choice springs you do accompany them by a decent set of shockers.
      What’s behind you doesn’t matter..

Never ever chop springs - I have seen cars lowered this way before and when they encounter a large pothole, the springs unseat and the whole suspension goes...
