  • Increase 06 Passat KW 2.0 TDI

    Hi,
    Just wontering what is the best opion to increase the KW & Nm in my 06 Passat 2.0 TDI 103kw.
    How do I get rid of the Turbo lag?

    Chip, CAI and exhaust are the 3 main ones to bump up the power.

    The lag may be due to the fact it is a diesel as well as turbo.

        No problems.
        Hope you see the expected 25-30hp increase.

        Add a CAI and Exhaust and you should definitely feel the changes.

          I will have my local parts supplier chase one up first thing tomorrow & hope to fit Friday for the wife to drive to Brisbane Saturday.

            Let us know what you go with in the end.. and the results. I have the same engine which could do with a few more kW.

              Guthrie,
              Ordered a DP chip today to suit the passat, hope to fit friday for the wife to take away for holidays.
              Price is high, $1495 + $20 postage.

                Maybe you should have done more research rather than rushing in. DP Chips are quite good but there are other ways to crack the walnut & potentially half that price.
