RE: Passat OEM Floor Mats

Hi All,

Just curious to see what everyone else has...

My OEM Passat floor mats appear to be "GREY", now the interior is Black Leather / Black Carpet etc.

Is everyone elses mat grey, or should they be black?My mats in my MK4 GTI were Black and I had black leather interior in that also.

Any thoughts?

Mine have round holes / connectors to the floor. And other than the plastic rings for the floor clips, I can not find any part numbers on them.

They do say Passat, embroided.

Mine are black and have all the things on them that you mention above.

I got the dealer to throw in the rubber mats too. Will see what they're like. I'll probably take out the carpet ones and save them for when I sell the car down the track.

got the carpet mats stored away and use the rubber mats
also got the cargo prtotector for the back

The mats that came with the R36 are cheap crap, plain black but there's no point storing them. They're not going to add anything to the resale value of the car.

Ok, so bit the bullet and have some black OEM VW Passat floor mats front and rear on the way! Grey just does not look right!
