New R36

Beee jeeezuz. I just took delivery last week of a new Blue R36. It's a fantastic drive. I looked for 2 months for a new sub $70k performance sedan and never considered a Passat till a forum somewhere suggeted it. It's got no competition.

I'm looking at trying to justify and afford an exhaust and maybe ECU upgrade, but in the meantime, who in the hell is willing to read the manuals for me, then teach me how to use all the toys?

I finally saw the blue on the weekend and it is an awesome colour. Like all darker colours though you'd better be ready to wash it regularly to keep it looking great. Also have to take extra care againt swirl marks.

I have to disagree about the "be ready to wash it" comment. I previously owned a black car and the Biscay Blue is simple to keep clean. Even when it's dirty it still looks reasonably clean. Sure, up close it's obvious but so is a white car upclose when it's dirty.

Taking care against swirl marks is easy. No sponges, chamois, or anything that's NOT microfibre for that matter = no swirl marks.

dcashion, has GPS and upgraded audio system. Price was the drive away thing, so I was pretty happy after the changeover. I do 1000k a week so it's going to get a work out

After a long 5mth wait, I have now proudly taken possession of my 09 black R36 sedan (with nav, dynaudio and sunroof). After driving for a few hours, I can tell you it has absolutely been worth the wait!!!!!
Getting Kufatec Bluetooth fitted tomorrow and tint on Wednesday. Probably going to get DVD (rear seat for the kids) and TV installed within the month also.
This car is AMAZING!!!!
