  • Passat R36 Exhaust

    Hi folks - same 'ol question again!
    New guy and getting lost in this site I'm affraid, and missing a couple of responses from my previous request for info about an R36 exhaust, so here I go again.
    I just picked up new Blue R36 and I want to fit a cat back exhaust. Has anyone done it? And can you offer suggestions in Sydney where to get it done. Can any exhaust specialist do it? I don't want loud - just to sound better.
    Thanks all (again)

    Evolve-Tecknik here in Melbourne do an exhaust for the R36. Their NSW distributor is;

    Corse Automotive & Motorsport
    21 Toohey Road
    Wetherill Park 2164

    It won't be cheap.

      And the same old answer again as the last time you asked the question...

        Thanks, but the reason I asked again is because all the previous were lost.

            Exhaust

            Ahhhh got it now thanks swallowtail. Excited so much about the new hot rod I've lost the ability to actually do the scroll thing. I'm contacting these uys tomorrow to see what they can offer.

            Has anyone else done an exhaust, and is it worth it? After spending a day in an R32 I'm so hooked on that sound.

            My problem is when I get a new car I can't keep it like the showroom, I have to mess with something. Any sensible "no jabber" ideas would be really appreciated from the experienced 36 guys.
            Thanks again

              No probs... I have to admit the R32 does sound divine... But I can't see me being able to stump up the coin they are asking for the cat-back.
