I got pulled over recently and was told by the exceptionally pleasant officer that NSW Police were trialling the R36 as a Highway Patrol car.

Yeah, i thought the wheels sucked too, but i'd agree with fuzion...winter tyres.

Burkey, scary proposition for those on NSW roads...but going on the vast array of unmarked cars that QLD's finest use, it doesn't suprise me.

Not sure this would be a bad thing. Given the relatively small number of R36s and other Passats on the road, this would make the HWP a little more noticeable.

In the instance one get's caught doing 1** giga watts I think it's game over red rover. Cops here have the rear louvres on Falcon/Commodore which makes them spottable an R36 I wouldn't think twice.
