  • Fiscon bluetooth Kit

l had a bluetooth kit installed in my R36 Yesterday. Fully integrated into car touch screen dialling and reads in my contacts list.

The only issue which needs to be addressed is the activation of the phone button on the steering wheel and MFD display. This is apparently done by VW setting some values through the diagnostic tool.

Almost cost the same as the VW dealer option.

    Very happy with it.

Did you fit it yourself and which sort of head unit do you have ? I believe your correct you need VW (or someone with the VAG software to change some of the infomation on the can bus if I remember.)

I've just ordered one of these... yes you need someone with the VAGCOM equipment/software to tell the car that the unit is fitted before it will fully integrate. Can I ask how much you paid for it - supply / fit?

Like where is the shop, how much did it cost, what sort of unit is it, was it hard to get VW to do the re-programming on VAGCOM?? how is it working in your car??

Caddyman, Nothing ever goes back perfectly, i watched them pull things apart and put them back. I could not find anything out of place. As with any job that you do repetatively...you can get lazy and not put things in properly. There is always a risk, but i was happy with my install.
