Well, today I had to replace a catalyctic convertor on a V5.
Wow, what a rotten job and the cat that the caryard supplied for the job was a pig! The job was done for a Sydney caryard who sold the Passat to a local fella down here.
They supplied the cat and told me that their mechanic up there does them in 2.5 hours. Thats rubbish!!!
Anyone here have a V5, check out where the Cat is out of interest. Drop the crossmember and motor just to get room to remove the thing after its all unbolted. And the nuts on the exhaust manifold??? Yuk!!
Time to go home and have a good stong drink!!
