R36 Exhaust improvements

Does anyone know the configuration of the exhaust system on the R36....is there an easily removable resonator that can provide an improved note/more noise?

Just change the mufflers, playing with the resonators creates drone i know first hand as my car is only just tolerable.

I removed the factory resonator and the volume was spastic, i put in a medium sized resonator and it was more tolerable but not something i think you or most would find acceptable.

It has a fairly decent note, but is noticably louder inside the car than outside of the car.

cheers burgs....my car still has to be quiet enough for the baby to sleep....so spastic isn't really an option
