Have Biscay Blue but wanted white... which was made available on the R36 in Australia roughly when I picked my blue one up!

Got a white wagon on order. My wife is still unsure about the colour choice, but I'm sure it will look great. Plus used the metallic paint funds for other options. Maybe I should have got the body kit too...

                    I have a white R36 wagon

these seem to be a bit rare - I waited a mere 14 months for mine!

Nothing wrong with white. When we picked ours, we had a choice between white with sunroof, and black without. I preferred the white, but my wife thought the black looked better, but liked the sunroof more. Besides, it's easier to keep white clean...

Says you with your Diesel Particulate Filter

Mum's 103 TDI looks horrible after a couple of weeks, the back doesn't stay Candy White for very long. My Golf isn't much better. I find the Candy White doesn't "hide" the dirt as much as other white cars.

I suppose it is still better than black in terms of looking clean for longer.

We originally wanted black. But when we saw the black one both my wife and I thought it looked like a hearse from certain angles. We have seen many since and I got to admit they look less hearse-like then we first thought. Haha, apologies to all those with black wagons, it's just a personal preference. Then we thought of the silver, looks very nice, but I see more of them around so I didn't want to be the same as everyone else's. Haha, again just a personal thing. Then I saw the white one on the US VW site and I was impressed. Plus it was cheaper. Hmmmm.... Ok, white it is! Haha, now from the poll I can see white is the most common (beside Biscay Blue which the TDI does not come in)!!! Oh the irony.

But I am so looking forward to my white wagon when it arrives in May. It can't come soon enough!

Says me who had two dark coloured Golfs (a black petrol GTI and a blue diesel Match/Pacific without DPF) in London, where you have to contend with road grit salt, snow, ice, and hard water. And that was in spring...

Still easier to keep my Candy White wagon clean in water-restricted Melbourne, with regular use on dirt roads, parked in an open carport with a gravel driveway, so the car collects more dust than a vacuum cleaner..
