how many kms have you done? Is the right foot getting plenty of exercise?

We regularly get 550km/tank out of our 3.2V6 .:R

I am getting the same, but the car is so hard to drive without putting your foot in it. It should be quite easy to get over 500kms to a tank if driven a little more conservatively ;o)

I'm also around 400 to 450km for a tank, mostly around town and given a fair bit of beans. I've seen as low as 280km and as high as around 600km. Have about 11000km on it since June last year.

Easily getting over 550 klm out of a tank. Quite often 600 to 650klms.
Best I acheived was an indicated 8.6 l/100klm out of a tank of almost all country driving with the occasional squirt to overtake etc.
Worst I got was 15.8 l/100klms out of a tank with mostly spirited driving on twisty, and high speed country roads.
                Cheap fun

Doing the daily run into the city (about 12km each way) and I'm getting 450-500 km from a tank, but at Christmas last year we got 700km.

I've got 13,500km on the car now and it seems to be settling down to that 450km range.

400 - 440km's... Note - You do not buy this car for fuel consumption.... You buy it for the sheer driving pleasure you get when you knock off WRX's and SS commodores.

                      400-450km per tank in Sydney.

                      About 700 on the highway.

Can't people give some real numbers i.e. litres/100km like one of our esteemed colleagues.
Km per tank is pretty vague.

70 litre tank....say 10 litres left when filled up, so 60 litres divided by 450 kms multiplied by 100equals about 13.3 l/100km

                              Passat CC 3.6 V6

Same engine as R36, about 7.9L/100km (trip computer) was the best I could get over 4 hours drive Coffs - Newcastle (with roadworks).
