I have added another option so people that don't have an R36 can see the results.

    Great thread.

Yes, you read it correctly the first time. 50% tax break for small businesses with turnover less than 2Mil are eligible if they invest in equipment for their business with Dec08 to Dec09. eg. A company car

That was NOT part of the Federal Budget brought down last night... It's been around for months now. And it's just another typical vote buying tactic by the Labor party. Small businesses will take advantage of it but most are smart enough to realise a Labor government (especially the current one) is actually clueless regarding business and economics.

You are right, there has been one around a few months already but it was only for 30% from dec 08 to Jun09 but they have revised it slightly. Don;t quote me on this but I think the 30% was for small to median size companies, whereas the 50% (announced yesterday) is for small companies only.

Looks like I'm one of 13 in NSW. I live in Bundeena, just south of Sydney in the Royal National Park although it's probably the blue wagon Rocket36 saw in the ACT as my other half takes it down there frequently so the kids can see their nanny and poppy. After 5 months of owning this car I still get a smile every time I start my car and go for a drive. That's in spite of the fact that it loses credibility by having two baby seats in the back and "Wiggles" sunshades on the side windows!

Well, I'm not far from you as I am in the Menai area and one of the "only" 13 in NSW.

We're looking at the r36 wagon for our growing family, we have a 4yo,2yo and another on the way. Has anyone managed to get 3 baby seats into one of these?
Would love to add another owner to VIC.

p.s. will also need replacement wiggles shades.

If you're gonna put "Wiggles" shades on it, you can forget the R36!

I don't think 3 baby seats will fit.

There are three anchor points though.... But I too doubt three will fit across the seat.

Not the news I was hoping for.
The R36 has more room than the Touareg (our first option). I would be happy to replace the baby seats if I dont have to sacrifice the safety. The mums at kinder introduced my wife to the 7 seater Territory which I'm trying to keep away from.

DO NOT buy a Territory. I have heard too many stories of suspension/steering failure in the front end. Thankfully the stories I have heard have occured when manouving into or out of a parking spot, but if it happened at any sort of speed? JESUS!
