    Hi Guys,

I need to get to the back of the cigarette lighter outlet which is next to the rear air vents between the front seats. I want to hard wire my cradle/ phone charger to 12v.

    Anyone had it out?

    Cheers

no but it probably turns off with the ignition so may not be what you are after?

if you need to have it on full time there is a way to do this from the fuse box which is on the RH side dashboard accessible when you open the door.

You sig notes you have bluetooth, so are you just after the charging function? I think that it would be no easy task to remove the cig lighter/ storage from the base of the dash without leaving a mark.

        Hi,

Don't need power all the time. Only need it to charge my phone in cradle. I know the old style Ipod adapters were installed in the console between the driver and passanger. This required removing part of it to fit the Ipod gear.

you can always get power from the fuse box - easy access and you can remove the wire quickly if needed, and you can choose constant power or ignition power
