For those guys with a RCD510 radio with SD slot.... What is the largest SD Card you have been able to get to work?

What brand did you use?

The manual says you can use up to 32GB SD card?

I've only tried an 8GB SDHC card.

Have a 12Gb SDHC card - works fine. You can use up to 32GB.

Hi, I use a 16GB and have also read it will accept up to 32gb. I had to format it in FAT32 for it to work.

Hey sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but what's the performance like with the bigger cards such as 12 or 16 GB when browsing the folders or playing songs?

I've heard conflicting reports, some people say it's really slow to boot up or load the songs with larger cards.

I haven't ordered the MDI on my GTI as I was planning on using an SD card instead, but wanted to check before in case I should add it to my order.

RCD 510 SD card

I have a 32GB SDHC card working . Mind you, it reads slowly if you organise your files in multiple folders. You are better off having all files in 2 or 3 folders, and using playlists instead.
