Power Coating = stronger and therefore will likely last longer. That doesn't mean paint won't last though.

Painting = better finish and will look better.

I have had wheels painted and then clear coated before... And I would do it again.

Have they kept the perimeter of the wheel silver while greying out the middle? Highlights things very nicely indeed. I think that's why the blacked out wheels of the car in the snow (some 10-15 postings prior) looks so good ... the white snow is actually serving to contrast against the black in the picture.

I see in the other pics that they've also blacked out much of the chrome trim (roof rails, sills, etc) ... how is this achieved? Some sort of plasti-dip do you think?

Looks the goods but needs some tyre/guard dressing as they look brown and thus detract from the look of the car.

Never realised before but the brakes on the back look tiny :|

yeah, it was spur of the moment because ppl were asking for shots of the wheels. The car is filthy.
As to the brakes being tiny? I think you're gonna be mighty disapointed with the Tiguan then !
