I have heard by removing the resonator and flapper can improve the note from the standard exhuast?

I have spoken to Volkspower in Melbourne and they said at this time they have no mods at this time. However they were probably meaning from a performance perspective.
I'd like to modify mine a bit... I've had a brief look for the flapper and couldn't find one. The engine note sounds kind of as though it's there, though - is anyone certain?
Removing a resonator and performing the switchable flapper mod could be interesting!
