Hey guys,
Looking at '01 and '02 Passats (1.8T manual) and there seems to be 3 on carsales (guess the manual version wasnt too common). But I have a budget of $15k do you guys think I could get a reasonable example for this type of budget?
I have been reading up on Passats and the 1.8T seems to have a lot of problems, broken dashes ($2k),oil leaks etc. Are there some common problems that are associated with the Passat?
I would love to own another Euro, but have sour experiences in the past. If the passast does have its share of common problems or if I cant get an 01, 02 manual for $15k I will have to buy a liberty or magna.
