where can i find suspension for my B1 1980 passat??

just wondering if anyone has had any luck chasing down shocks and springs for the old b1 passat's.... i have rung around, but im having difficulty finding anything decent.

any help would be appreciated

I got new shocks in my '76LS back in about 2002. I think I got the rear ones from Import Advantage in Bris but I think they're closed now. I didn't want to tackle the front struts myself so I had them replaced at German Autos (also in Bris). It made an incredible difference to the handling & ride. German Autos also put new rear springs (standard height but heavy duty) back in 1995 sometime, so the back of it didn't sag.
