Hi all,

Quick question. Looking at buying a 1992 Passat Wagon (B3???)

Wanted to know what are some things to look out for in this older model?

What engine? Defo check the front engine mount and gearbox mount on all variants. The other thing that will want sorting for sure, will be the wishbone bushes.

make sure all the electrics work, the sunroofs sometimes fail on one side so they tilt and won't slide. There's parts available from VW to fix that.

The rest of the car should be pretty good. I have had half a dozen of these over the years and they have been great. 1800s, 2 litres and a G60 syncro.
