I really would like to avoid putting in my order for a CC too late because it would mean handing my current vehicle in and potentially spending months driving a company provided POS rental(which probably smells funny and has unexplainable stains ) until the CC comes in.

I figured I'd try to time my order for the CC to minimise the wait in between cars.

I understand its a four-five month wait from order, unless you happen to have a match to a prospective order put in (dealers will order a CC in advance of actual customer, given not everyone willing to wait - for some reason this always seems to be a TDI with sun roof lol or a stock V6). Hope that's of assistance.

You can see from Scotty's post that white with black rims gives an effect that hides the wheels somewhat - a meaner look I think.

What exactly is the 2013 update? If you mean free satnav and reverse camera then I believe the ones preceding MY13 also had them, perhaps not MY12 but pretty sure MY12.5 did. Maybe someone can confirm.

I'm anticipating that I'll probably be looking more towards the 4-5 month wait, considering the options and color I'm after. Will be planning to put in the order at the appropriate time.

Of course I'm hoping the dealer will just turn around and say, "Funny you should be asking for that color and THOSE options... we have one that just came in and prepped for sale. We can have that ready for you to pick up this afternoon, if you like?" LOL... yeah... I didn't think so either!!!

Time to go to dealer shopping!

Happy to help It's a test of fortitude waiting, but it is worth it to get what you want and not having to compromise. Nothing worse than a couple of months down the track going "I wish..."

Dealers are keen to sell you early too (especially since the longer they have an on-spec model on the floor, the more it costs them), so stick to your guns on what you want. Worth the wait
