Just booked the Passat CC in for it's 30k service. I was quoted $640 which sounds a little excessive. What's involved in the 30k service for the tdi? Any other recommendations for VW repairers in Sydney's west?

I have a TDI CC, and from memory thats too expensive. Have a look at the service book and see whats involved. You could shop around for quotes, even the non-dealer VW mechanics, it won't negate your warranty. I hate damn price gougers, they do bugger-all on minor services anyway. -
Think you got a good deal with your CC? This is how the dealer plans to claw it back!

I got slugged $690 on mine
What VW recommends be done doesn't line up with the logbook so I discovered when I enquired
