  • Which side is the fuel cap on in the Passat CC?

A sad observation but it's something I've noticed. If you look at VWs website gallery of the CC, the fuel filler cap appears to change sides on a regular basis. Perhaps it depends on whether it's LHD or RHD, although I suspect it's just those pesky marketing people pfaffing around with Adobe Illustrator.

For the record, I'm pretty sure it's on the RHS!

most VWs have it on the RHS I believe! I think most manufacturers tend to pick a side and stick to it dont they?

But yeah. Most likely some photos have been flipped to make a lhd car look like a rhd one.

Search through Phaeton's photos in several threads and you will find it is on the RHS like other Passats.

eg "Passat CC in the flesh", this group and "Phaeton's trip to the dealer", VW Watercooled Media Lounge / Photos.

          Phaeton's Photos

Phaeton quotes "Heres the only photo I took of the RHS with filler cap".

Very true but there are at least 6 photos of the silver version showing the LHS without a fuel filler cap
