Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Wiper Wash Bottle Seals

2009 VW Passat CC 2.0TDI (CBBB engine)

Wiper wash motor was working fine, but the wash fluid was leaking out and going empty all the time (the wash bottle level sensor works because the empty bottle warning light comes on) - removed the bottle and pump. I referred to this excellent YouTube video: Typical Washer Fluid Leak pump motor seal level sensor grommet ring leaking bottle Audi VW Passat CC - YouTube

I need two new rubber seals (one between the pump and bottle, and the other between the level sensor and the bottle). Does anyone know the part numbers and where you can get them - I suspect the VW dealer will only seal the whole bottle/pump assembly at some ridiculous price!

    7M0 919 382 sensor seal

Two different part numbers for the pump seal are based on whether you have HIDs.

    443 955 464 and 431 955 465 A

Fantastic MIG! It seems to be impossible finding part numbers for VWs!
