    Thanks. It was horrific.
Sorted now with a full refund.

HA ha Same **** different bucket and the Sunroof parts will probably be identical to the VW. Would never have a sunroof. In fact I got a new vehicle off the truck because it didnt have one whereas I would have had to wait to get a sunroof one LOL

Glad you got it sorted. I had a similar story with Citroen in the UK when I lived there, I bought a brand new Citroen DS3 Racing in 2011, it was great until I reached 1,000 miles and then it started to hesitate and misfire badly. Over the next 5 months it spent almost 4 of them in the dealer, the problem was diagnosed as too much oil getting back in via the engine rebreather system and it was gumming everything up.

I even highlighted that on the same engine in the Peugeot RCZ had the rebreather intake capped off and asked them to try the same but they refused. They wanted to replace the engine and the dealer let slip they were on back order as 3 other cars were also waiting for new engines which wasn't a good sign given that there were only a few hundred on a limited availability in the UK! I went down the route of rejection under UK Consumer Law and finally after 6 months they replaced it with another brand new one.

When that one got to 1,000 miles..... yep, same issue! I then spent another 2 months battling for a full refund of the purchase price and that was an absolute uphill battle until I also involved a journalist from Auto Express magazine who ran the story, very quickly thereafter I got a full refund.
