I’ve noticed the impending Passat facelift includes a new, and rather cool looking AID.

Nothing mentioned about the Arteon. Anyone got any ideas about possibility of getting one and retrofitting to the Arteon??

Is that a feature we can unlock in the Arteon, DreamensioN? I saw something in youtube about unlocking something like it using the app that needs credits.

I had a little look quite a while ago but didn't see anything that I could figure out. I believe it is an extended capability of Audi Connect, so it may be that it is Audi specific.

But looking through the settings I couldn't see anything related to mirroring the map or headunit display to the dash.

Already played with it. This is for Car_Net, which is not available in Australia. Everything on-line must have a Car-Net account. It's totally useless here in Oz.

A bit off topic but I wonder how long VW can ignore car net with the new Golf on the horizon and VW saying it will be the most connected car ever which I find a dubious statement. Tesla can update the car fleet over the internet and I can't see VW doing that in this generation of cars.

Waze/Google Maps works now no problem. This coding was (potentially) to get Google Maps displayed on the actual dash (between the dials). But looks like it's a no go. The screen shots/videos I have seen with this working have been Euro based cars where Car Net is a thing. It's not a thing here in Australia.
